About Us

What we do

R-Gen supports individuals from ethnic backgrounds to overcome the barriers they face as they settle into life in Canada. These barriers can include learning a new language, adjusting to a new culture, overcoming significant gaps in education, and living with experiences of trauma, racism, and financial hardship. R-Gen supports children and youth through one-on-one mentoring and summer camps tailored to their evolving needs.

We believe in preserving the family unit, the integrity of the individual and the intrinsic strengths of the family as a basis for support and advocacy. We believe that by working together with clients, families, and other involved individuals, we can better provide services to meet all the clients’ goals.

Why we do

Individuals feel grounded when they are connected to their community and see that they are part of a larger vision. This strengthens their resilience, builds self-confidence, and helps them develop as leaders.
